Dr. Mary P. Coday of Overlake EyeCare Recognized As a 2025 WA Top Doc
Mary P. Coday, MD has been reviewed and approved by WA Top Docs based on merit for 2025. A North Seattle native, Dr. Coday brings over two decades of compassionate, expert care to her patients in the greater Seattle region. She began her academic journey at the University of Washington, graduating summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Bioengineering. Her passion for medicine led her to Harvard Medical School, where she earned her medical degree in 1994.
Dr. Coday completed her internship at Virginia Mason Medical Center in Seattle, followed by a residency in ophthalmology at the prestigious Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary in Boston. Since returning to the Pacific Northwest, she has built a respected practice in ophthalmology, with the past 16 years dedicated to serving patients at Overlake EyeCare, PS.
Board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology, Dr. Coday is an active member of several professional organizations, including the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the Washington State Medical Association, and the Washington Academy of Eye Physicians and Surgeons, where she has served as both president and trustee. Dr. Coday also shares her knowledge and passion for eye health as adjunct faculty at Northwest University in Kirkland.
Her excellence in care has been recognized through multiple honors, including the ‘Trademark Women of Distinction Honors’ in 2018. Dr. Coday also gives back through her volunteer work with EyeCare America, providing care to underserved populations.
With her deep roots in the community and commitment to excellence in eye care, Dr. Coday continues to make a lasting impact on the lives of her patients and the future of ophthalmology.
